Public Liability Risk and Workmen's Compensation Risk

This section protects you against liability to the general public for accidental death, bodily injury, or property damage. It also provides you cover for any liability towards your employees under the Workmen's Compensation Act for any injury or death in the course of their employment.

Some householders' insurance policies also cover the householder's legal liability as a tenant to the landlord for damage to the building, electrical installations, and other home fittings due to fire, burglary, and other perils.

Exclusions

  • Expenses on animals, kept for commercial or agricultural purposes
