This section of householders' insurance provides cover for breakage of fixed glass and sanitary fittings, including cost of frame, lettering, painting etc. The cover also applies to accidental damage to your appliances caused by the breakage.

Exclusions

  • Breakage during removal, alterations, or repairs at home

  • Disfigurement, scratching, or damage of glass (other than breakage that extends through the entire thickness of the glass)

  • Damage caused by the glass because it was not completely and securely fixed
