Will a health insurance policy provide for the loss of my earnings?

Wednesday 05 December 2007

No health insurance policy will directly provide for the loss of your earnings; unless you have been permanently disabled in an accident AND your health insurance policy has accident cover.

However, if you have purchased a critical illness plan and your illness is covered under the plan, you are paid a lump sum amount irrespective of the actual expenses.
