| I am 32 years old and am planning to take a LIC life insurance policy (money back) benefitting my daughter who is 2 yrs old, for a period of 18 years. The amount insured is 5 lakhs and at the end I get back total 9.5 lakhs in installments during the last 3~4 years (yearly premium is approx. 25,000 ~ 30,000). The premium will be waived in case of my death with all returns intact and my wife being assigned to receive the amount. Is it a good policy? | |

As far as your daughter is concerned we believe that first you have to take health insurance of an amount of Rs. 50000/- atleast and you need to buy term insurance plan which would protect your child’s education in case of uncertainities. As far as investment is concerned we at apnainsurance believe that insurance is a protection tool rather then the investment tool. Insurance is not one of the best investment option, you need to consider other investment option. |
