The
Life Guardian Benefit rider, which is offered as part of a children's life insurance policy,
is similar to the Waiver of Premium rider - in the event of death of the
parent/guardian of the insured child during the term of the policy, all future
premiums are waived on the policy, with the policy remaining in force. In short, this rider
ensures that the benefit to the child remains unchanged and undamaged in the
event of death of the parent/guardian who would have paid the premiums in the
normal course.
