ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited is a joint venture between ICICI Bank Limited and Lombard Canada Ltd., a group company of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited.

The company got the license to begin operations in India in August 2001. It offers general insurance products such as health insurance, home insurance, auto insurance, and travel insurance. It offers insurance to NRIs, Indian nationals as well as corporate plans. It also offers customized insurance products for the rural population. ICICI Lombard offers the online option for both buying insurance as well as paying premiums.
