| To the best of our knowledge, in India there are only two companies which will cover you for OPD expenses. The first one is offered by Star Health Insurance and is known as Free Outpatient Consultation. It is a value added service where you will have to take it along with the below mentioned policies Medi Classic Insurance Medi Premier Insurance Star True Value Health Insurance Family Health Optima Insurance This facility is only available to residents of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Secondly, you can buy an ICICI Health Advantage Plus policy. This policy from ICICI will cover you two benefits, Basic Hospitalization cover and Outpatient Department (OPD) cover. The Claims under OPD Benefit is only on a re-imbursement basis. |
