For vehicles fitted with authorized bi-fuel system such as petrol/diesel and CNG/LPG, the CNG/LPG kit fitted into the vehicle has to be insured separately at an additional premium of 4 per cent of the kit value. This has to be specifically declared in the car insurance proposal form.
